Representing Redhawk Academy in Peoria, Arizona, Elliott is a perfect 5-0 as a pro fighter. All five of his wins have come by first-round stoppage, including a submission win at **[RUF 63](https://spectationlink.com/3T5o4lY)** (below). His ground game is deadly, and he has looked incredible so far. Elliott, 25, looks like one of the best prospects in North America and **[could potentially get a fight on Dana White's Contender Series next summer](https://spectationlink.com/4qxMDYk)**, which means he is probably just a few wins away from fighting in the UFC. Tipton, 30, trains out of Roufusport in Milwaukee. Tipton turned pro less than a year ago and has won two of his three fights, including a knockout at **[RUF 64](https://spectationlink.com/4mnaYxK)** in his last bout. However, he was submitted several times as an amateur fighter. It will also be interesting to see how he performs in this contest, given the recent sudden death of his head coach, Duke Roufus. **Pick: Ezra Elliot by Submission -300** **Bantamweight Bout (135 lbs): Chris Quiroz (4-1) vs. Alec Bailey (3-2)** **Chris Quiroz -275** **Alec Bailey +200** The bantamweight co-main event sees Chris Quiroz against Alec Bailey. Fighting out of Dominate MMA in Green Valley, Arizona, Quiroz, 30, went pro in 2023 and has won four of his five fights. All of his fights have ended by stoppage, including his last fight when his opponent vomited inside the cage. He also has a 1-0 record fighting for RUF. Bailey, 26, trains at American Top Team Orlando in Orlando, under former UFC fighter Ben Saunders. All of his fights have ended inside the distance, though he has lost two of his last three fights by submission heading into this matchup. The odds of a submission either way here seem high, and I expect Quiroz to finish this one quickly. **Pick: Chris Quiroz -275, Under 1.5 Rounds -300** **Bantamweight Bout (135 lbs): Robert Casper (8-9) vs. Peter Caballero (14-7)** **Robert Casper -250** **Peter Caballero +185** Bantamweights square off when Robert Casper takes on Peter Caballero. Casper, 30, trains at Iron Forge MMA in Round Rock, Texas. Casper has fought for promotions such as LFA and Fury FC in the past. Since going pro in 2017, most of his wins have come by knockout, while the majority of his losses have come by decision. In short fights, Casper does his best work, but when the fight gets extended, things become a bit messy for him. In his last fight, Casper picked up a big knockout win over former UFC fighter Aaron Phillips. Fighting out of Texas Style Fight Club in Corpus Christi, Caballero, 35, has been a pro since 2016. Caballero has a wealth of MMA experience with 21 pro fights. "El Vaquero" has competed in Karate Combat and has taken on several UFC veterans, including a win over Eric Shelton. Caballero's ground game is very good with five submission wins. He also has nine decision victories, demonstrating his strength when the fight goes the distance. However, his durability is a concern, as Caballero has been knocked out four times. I am going with Casper to win this fight by knockout. **Pick: Robert Casper -250, by KO/TKO +100**
**Featherweight Bout (145 lbs): Greg Foster (5-1) vs. DeAndre Anderson (6-5)** **Greg Foster -450** **DeAndre Anderson +300** We have a featherweight bout between Greg Foster and DeAndre Anderson. Foster, 33, fights out of The MMA Lab in Phoenix. He won his first five pro fights, but took his first loss in his last matchup. Foster has experience fighting in both RUF and Borroka. His ground game is his best attribute, and a submission seems likely. Anderson, 28, trains at Law School MMA in greater Memphis. He went pro in 2018, and he has picked up three stoppage wins out of his six career victories. Anderson has struggled lately, losing four of his last five fights overall, including a submission defeat in RUF. Foster should be able to take this fight to the mat and win it by submission. **Pick: Greg Foster -450, by Submission +150** **Bantamweight Bout (135 lbs): David Almayo (6-4) vs. Carlos Valadez (2-4)** **David Almayo +115** **Carlos Valadez -150** Bantamweights collide as David Almayo takes on Carlos Valdez. Almayo, 27, is an Israeli fighter who trains out of Fight Ready MMA in Scottsdale, Arizona. Almayo made his pro debut in 2018 and won his first six fights. However, he has struggled lately with four straight defeats and no wins since June 2021. To make things even tougher for Almayo, he has been finished in his last three fights in a row entering this one. Valadez, 28, trains at Havoc MMA in Westminster, Colorado. He's won two fights by stoppage, but has lost four fights overall, including his last two. Valadez's level of competition has been poor, and Almayo represents the best opponent he has fought to date. I will take the underdog in this one as I like Almayo here due to his experience. **Pick: David Almayo +115, by Decision +140**
**Flyweight Bout (125 lbs): Alex Preissing (0-0) vs. Shawn Winland (0-1)** **Alex Preissing -275** **Shawn Winland +200** Flyweights meet when Alex Preissing takes on Shawn Winland. Preissing, 27, is making his pro MMA debut in this fight. Training out of Red Hawk Academy in Peoria, Arizona, Preissing has won five of his six amateur MMA bouts, including a 2-0 record in RUF this year alone. After picking up those two victories, Preissing is now ready to make the jump to the professional rankings. Notably, Preissing will enter the ring after graduating from Arizona State law school in May. Preissing takes on Winland, 25, who lost his first pro MMA fight earlier this year. Winland, who fights out of Cobra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, had a lengthy amateur MMA run with a 6-7 record. Submissions are a problem for Winland, so going up against someone like Preissing, who can finish the fight on the floor, could be a problem. **Pick: Alex Preissing -275, by Submission +200** **Featherweight Bout (145 lbs): Miguel Francisco (0-0) vs. Daniel Bonner (0-2)** **Miguel Francisco -750** **Daniel Bonner +450** We have a featherweight matchup between Miguel Francisco and Daniel Bonner opening the pro card. Training at The MMA Lab in Phoenix, Francisco, 26, will make his pro MMA debut in this bout. He had a 5-3 record in the amateur ranks, with all but one of his wins coming by way of stoppage. One thing to keep in mind is that Francisco has not fought since December 2023, so he enters this bout coming off a nearly two-year layoff. Bonner, 25, trains at Flow State MMA, and took this fight on short notice after Francisco's original opponent fell out. Bonner has competed twice in Fusion Fight League, both losses. However, he has had a 5-7, 1 NC record as an amateur, with the No Contest in RUF MMA. Francisco is the better prospect with the higher ceiling, and he had the full training camp for this fight.
